JOB SUMMARY: Support the mission and vision of the Kentucky Primary Care Association (KCPA) and its membership to achieve organizational quality, patient-centered care, and financial success of the members served.

Under the supervision of the Member Services Director, organize, evaluate and promote
member services data, operations and activities and assure the smooth operation of member services and its database.
Drive team-based productivity and outcomes. Provide support for a professional and respectful environment that promotes teamwork.
Promote confidentiality of data.
Build positive working relationships with members, other organizations, contractors, and business partners of the KCPA.
Inform the Member Services Director and other KPCA management team members of issues and progress on accomplishing assigned tasks.
Provide assistance to the KCPA members and other staff as needed on member services, event coordination and directed.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Works under the supervision of the Member Services Director to assure the operations of member services and the accomplishment of targeted goals and outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The general duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Membership Services Operation:
• Assist in planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the activities of the Member Services Division through a member database.
• Oversee basic day-to-day membership services requests, website updates, and database management.
• Communicate with membership; post vital information on the web site in a timely manner.
• Collect and maintain up-to-date contact information on all members of KPCA and all participatory services.
• Provide support to KPCA management staff as directed. Works closely with the Business Office manager to support the IPA activities and technical communications.
No employees directly supervised.
May be assigned special projects and provide assistance to KPCA membership and management team.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A BA in communications, marketing, health care information or other related field is preferred but not required. Experience with a membership management organization is most desired and/or health care experience with Primary Care Centers, Rural Health Clinics and/or Community Health Centers would be useful to the candidate. Event planning and coordination also most desired.
